*snip snip*

Got up this morning and took a good look at the weather...bleak =-= so that means no bath for Rocky but there are other ways to clean this little doggie up ^--^
I took out a pair of scissors, grabbed Rocky and...snipped off the hard clumps of fur behind Rocky's ears and the flaps over his bum =P He looks much cleaner and fresher now =D Also mixed some solution for those bothersome ticks on his head =__= went away for a week and came back seeing them everywhere! talor eh~ but no fears Rocky I shall clean you everyday now that I am back ^_____^

so...this fine morning my parents decided that my hair looked way too messy and after breakfast my mum took me to Maxwell for a trim and shaping up. I haven't had a fringe since I was 11 years old so it could take some time getting used to having it/seeing me now :P
Owh, got my phone fixed, turns out the LCD screen had to be replaced, rm$50 T__T
Just now my bro had me try his facial cleanser coz he said my dove wasn't working XD lol! So I tried his then he started rubbing my face =--= He had always had a fascination with my hair (said he likes the feel of softness) and now my face from the effects of the cleanser! lol! He even gave me face gel for spots and pimples! XD who woulda known my bro had those things! rofl~

Sem 2/2008 O-week

As some of you have noticed (*coughEriccough*) I have not updated in the past week. I have been bunking with my dear friend who stays closer to campus for the whole week (many thanks Pleasure XD) Why? It was all to dedicate our time to be volunteers, [long live CV!] helpers to the SOARs, the student guardians to the new students...

~Day 1~

We arrived late as Pleasure's foot got swollen from an ant bite =__= at first all we did was sit around with the boss, Ham and a few other CV!s waiting for more students and parents to arrive to take some action :P

Task 1: move more chairs into the LT.

Task 2: entertain bored proud parents of the new students (of which Irwin did a wonderful job :P).

Task 3: be traffic controller for ID collection.

Task 4: watch the car sticker collection desk.

That was pretty much it for day1. At the end of our tasks came a very pleasent surprise...Bal came on campus!!! XD It was wonderful seeing the big guy again :D He lost weight too! (enjoy Kangaroo land now Bal =D) We all hung around for the rounders session till 10pm++?

Then Pleasure and I sent Ham back and while reversing we looked left and right but not the back =_= *bang* A hilux (which hasn't suppose to park there in the first place!) The alarm went off but the owner didn't even bother to check on the car =___= haiz senadin area. The hilux was only slightly scratched but the poor kelisa's bum got dented. What to do? Honestly, just drive away. If we stayed nothing good would come out of it. She got quite a bit of naggin when we got back to her home but her parents eventually cooled down. A whacked 1st day (literally too).

~Day 2~

Went in the afternoon as we spent the morning trying our best to fix the dent and managed to at least fix the lock area for the boot to close. Nothing much on, mostly just talks which well, bored the heck outta us, luckily we had anime (One Piece!) to watch :P haha.

But of course, 22nd was a special day, it was the day our Pleasure turned 20!! XD Me and Ham gave her CJ7 theme's presents =D wanna see? lol

We went back earlier as there was a family gathering waiting for her at her home for her birthday =D We had a great and super delicious dinner by auntie p= (put on 1kg over the week wei!) Her nearly 2 year old niece left me a bit O__o tho XD She just kept staring at me! No smiles, no crying, slight frowing now and then and continuous staring!! lol!! really active little girl too :P

~Day 3~

Ah Wednesday, the most interesting day! Once again, me and Pleasure went later, this time for the Ham's sake :P hey boss said it's ok to go late mah XD So we head out to campus for the afternoon "Meet your lecturers" session. Of course I went for the School of Business session, it's Kak Sham!!! XD

We didn't eat lunch knowing there would be a short food session ;) it was really good food for poor, I-dunwanna-spend-$$ students like us XD

ahem, back to the session, this time's was far more fun, the students were divided into 8 groups and had 2 activities. First activity was to flip a mat around the size of 40X60cm...while everyone in the group is stepping on the mat. The first group had 4 people and managed very well =) the second group was a challenge by Kak Sham...10 people!! XD They could hardly move!!! lol!! It was great fun watching them but hey! they tried!

The second activity was, given 4 straws, each group had to stick the straws through (yes all the way) the long side of...a potato!!! Everyone worked hard on piercing the potato they had (the room smelled of potato!! xD) and 1 group eventually did it, in good time too! *aplaude* Ian also managed to get 3 in before he stopped =D lol!

At the end, we sang "To be a Better Man" by "Robbie Williams" =) Tis was a good day ^-^

~Day 4~

The morning went by with a slow crawl without Ham + May, the power pair of the SOARs who left for the JCLA and full of talks. It was easily noticible that the number of the students who attended dropped over the days from a full and packed room of 300+ to about 200. Still the new batch is far more enthusiatist compared of mine of dead fish, the SOARs this batch are lucky :P haha

I helped the new commerce students with their timetable reading and tutorial choosing after stuffing my lunch of yummy mee goreng p= I will be meeting some of these juniors in my units XD buahaha~ many were confused as to how the tutorial choosing works, the newer system is far cleaner than from before and they wanted to whine about it hah! Well I didn't give them a hard time :P helped out where I could~ ehehe

At 3pm (+10mins) me and Ian went to a club's meeting with the student council and had some agenda talk in which I was totally blur =S (president how could you be in Sibu enjoying while leaving this to me D=) I hope someone from the club had sorted it out :S (points at self: super clue-ness vice-president in training)

Stayed back and learnt the "I will Survive" dance with the SOARs :P great exercise XD

~Day 5~

Friday, at last, the last and most busy day of the orientation. The new students prepared for their presentations, SOARs went about helping and preparing for their own little show and the CV!s toughen it out and moved tables and chairs from the cafeteria to the LT foyer. As 5pm approached, the students all went back into the LT, anxious to show what they got. SOARs and CV!s watched their performance and I for one was impressed by the creativity some groups have shown, it was great to see the teamwork and dedication they had.

At 7pm, CV!s went to our stations by the dinner section and resisted the urge to more than sniff the BBQ chicken as our stomachs made noise and mouths watered. Once again, me and Pleasure where traffic controllers, careful to make sure they stayed in line (the students were well disciplined tho :D). Finally at 8.10pm, Ian gave the signal that we too could start feasting. The food was absolutely to die for~ lamb chop, mee hoon, hotdogs, mixed vege, chicken wings (lotsa chicken wings!) and corn P=

But, we weren't the only ones feasting, the campus mosquitoes decided that if we are to have a party, so should they! The mosq were crazy! At least 5-10 on each person, biting everywhere!! Most students ran off after dinner, to escape from the bites, the rest of us immedietly went to work, clearing tables, moving and re-arranging the tables and chairs. After the work..we partied =D Agent Orange and his awsome sound system gave us all the more reason to dance the time away XD

It was crazy, it was sweatly, it was fun =D A perfect end to the O-week~

little things light smiles

yup, it's the waggy-waggy-gilar-manja-puppy-eyed-short-legged Rocky! XD Gave him another bath this morning and he is smelling great ^^ after dinner (mine and his) I sat on the porch as usual and stared at him stare at me with his tail on slow wag. The moment I stood up and walked to the gate his tail went to hyper speed and he starts jumping at me, ramming into my legs then chase him tail till I open the gate! *squeels~*
Once outside he stares back at me with those eyes which probably asked "hey are you coming?" When I step out, he does more spins, chasing his tail and brushing against me then runs off along the road in his cute galloping way =D If I am too far behind him, he will run back and will seem to say "hurry up hurry up! play time!" with his tongue out and the silly wide grin on his face.
He really is my little bundle of joy. Always there for me, always happy and ever so playful. The other little things he does like waggin his tail big time, rolling over and sneezing when I know he would just makes me happy and glad that he is now ours after so many years of loneliness he had to go through. I want to make the rest of his doggie life last and be as happy as he could be.

He is furry, he is fluffy, he is lovable, he is gentle, he makes people happy, he is my little Rocky.

meeting up and farewells

yo~ was away in Brunei for the weekend so couldn't post =P Once again we stayed over at a family's friend's place.
On the 12th we met up with our long time neighbours from our Temburong days, Uncle John and Auntie Jane. It was wonderful seeing them again! Had a long chat at Coffee Beans before we had to say our goodbyes else they would miss their flight to UK. Hope to see them again soon, hopefully in NZ then! (reminder: need to find pictures of them)
We spent the rest of our time shopping and with Kho family :P Had a good time with Adeline and Darren, gonna miss em big time when they move to NZ! [enjoy your solid foods before leaving Ade!!! XD]

Came back yesterday (to dear awaiting Rocky) all tired out and slept at 10pm! The earliest I had since...the CV! camp so many months ago!! Slept for 11hours! Woke up all groggy and heavy >.< haha but coz of all that sleep I am kidda hyper-ish now! Well.. it's partly from all the cake I was eatting too :P Choco cake baked by me mum for my bro's birthday, Happy 16th! XD
Good thing the line is working fine now compared to the rest of the day =P Still need to sleep at a reasonable hour tonight, going to Curtin to pay my fees in the morning and maybe go swimming in the afternoon =D
Owh owh, how can I forget, Bal and Zackie left for Kangaroo land on the 12th, enjoy your time there guys and hope to see you again!!!

getting slighty tanned :p

Went swimming again yesterday afternoon with Pleasure (thanks for inviting me XD) it's been really hot here in Miri lately and the swim was great~ no cannonballs =D lol! Even in the water tho, the sun was blazing! I am sure I look a little darker now ^-^ hehe, it's good for me I guess, been told too many times that I am too fair :P getting a healthy skin colour is nice =)

Finally catching up with my manga time~ updated my Naruto (wonderful manga by Kishimoto Masashi sensei) and now chasing my Bleach (more boy-ish, lotsa fighting and odd art by Kubo Tite sensei)

hmm, nothing much today, been trying out Photoshop tonight to make a siggy for my ShiroiMori (my dear lvl 50 Mage) but Ham took over with his skills :P haha

wootz!!!

The morning started out good.. The little stinky got his bath! XD Smelling great now! But he seems to not like being clean, always finds ways to dirty himself up in the mud lol luckily just his paws =P

Spent the afternoon on Fiesta once again (leveled to 50 woot!) then went for a quick run with Rocky as promised ^^ helped dad with the printer for the rest of the evening and finally got it working before dinner =)

Went grinding on Fiesta agian till about 11.30pm and lo and behold! Hamu was there telling me to check for the semester's results! Oh joy~ XD 3Ds and 1 credit for BIS (last minute work result :P) had hoped for at least 1 HD but this is good =D now I am really looking forward to next semester's challenges and improving myself =) ousu! gambarimasu! ^^

bad morning -> good night

Right, woke up way too late for my parent's timing so had a gulp of milk for breakfast (11.30am liao bah) and spent a good time in the kitchen clearing up and washing up, a "daughter's" duty so they won't be moody and nag at me for no reason =_=
couldn't give Rocky a bath coz of the wacky weather, heat then sudden rain, shall try again later today coz he is really stinky now XD been spending less time with him, must make up to him later ekeke
Had a sudden craving tonight for an old song from a series which a lot of TV2 and TV3 lovers would know of ;) The series "The Legendary Twin" 1999 version ^^ The song: "快乐至上" (Happiness is the most important) by 林志颖 (Jimmy Lin Zhi Ying). Many thanks to Pleasure for her seaching skills in Chinese :P and now the song is on replay! =D

a kick start

so on this night I finally decided to start this little blog just to test out how "addictive" it can be ^^ and because yes, I had too much sleep in the afternoon to go sleep now :P night owl mode lol! not much to say now but that I hope I don't sleep in too late again in the morning coz it's time for the little stinky downstairs bath XD
